Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge

Each November, more than 4,000 people participate in the Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge, the largest 10K in the tri-state region. Founded in 2001, the Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge is the most significant fundraising event for Larc School, a non-profit special education school serving students with a wide range of moderate to severe disabilities, free of cost. Together the Run and other Norcross initiatives have raised millions of dollars over the years for the Larc School.

Renowned for its warm, family-like atmosphere, small class sizes, and focus on each student’s individual goals and abilities, Larc School was first named the beneficiary of Run the Bridge in 2002. In its inaugural year, the event registered 750 participants and 24 major sponsors. The Run continues to grow each year and includes support and resources from The Norcross Foundation, Cooper University Health Care, AmeriHealth, and many other businesses and organizations.

George E. Norcross, III, is Chairman of the Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge. The event holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the Norcross family and will remain an integral initiative of The Norcross Foundation for years to come.
